Born in the city of Blagoevgrad, Argir Mansiev graduated from the Bulgarian National Academy of Fine Arts in 1969 and has devoted his life to painting in a variety of media, including oils, pastels, and watercolors. The careful and harmonious selection of colors allows his pieces to communicate directly with the viewer. Few modern artists' work projects the simplicity and purity of shapes and color, or the expressiveness so typical of his work.
